Truer words have never been spoken. And that’s why this Saturday, May 29 at Minglewood Hall from 6 to 7 pm, there will be a tribute concert just for Mr. Gaye.

This is a live show that has had previous performances by Tim Terry, Menefer, Will Graves, Stephanie Bolton, Nujynisis, Larry Springfield and several other local artists. It’s the 6th year that this will be performed in Memphis.

There’s  a different theme every year. This year’s theme is “The Genres”, focusing on Marvin’s influence on music and the artists that have used his works, such as Jay-Z and Luther Vandross.

It’s sure to be an amazing event. Tickets are between $18 and $25.
